How a shoot works

Before

Shoots are lots of fun and can be at home, a location of your choice or in the Botanical Gardens.

Prior to the shoot we will discuss the location and what will happen on the day.  If the location is unfamiliar I will make a quick visit prior to the session to ensure it is suitable and has good light for the time of the shoot.

We will discuss your requirements from the photo session and whether you prefer colour or black and white images.

It is best to talk about the photo shoot with your children to prepare them for the day.  Let them be involved in the preparation, they can bring along a favourite toy, a book or a ball to play with.  They can choose what they would like to wear! Fairy’s and superheroes regularly turn up, just bring a change of outfit that parents might prefer them in.  General guidelines are:

• For colour images it looks better if everyone wears colours that don’t clash
• The background colours are usually vibrant greens, so any bright contrasting colour looks good, as does white
• Stripes or checks, solids and white all look lovely in black and white images
• Make sure you are comfortable and feel good in it

Due to the unpredictable nature of Singapore’s weather, photo session’s are occasionally cancelled.  When taking a booking I usually arrange a back-up booking as well.  If anyone is sick we can rearrange free of charge.

After

After the photo session I will edit your images and they will be uploaded to a password protected on-line gallery within 2 weeks of the shoot.

You can view and select your images from home, however, I am available for consultation if you need any advice on selecting photos and how you will eventually display them.

Prices

The photography session cost is $200.

Images can be printed on photographic paper or fine art paper.  Canvases, bespoke framing, photobooks and cards are also available.

A price list is available on request.

Digital Images

Digital images are available to purchase either as single images at $25 each or, for print orders over $150, the complete set can be purchased for $500.
